The distance between both rings is about 2.9" and the width of each ring (i.e. amount of contact with the scope) is 0.65".

fit perfect on new Thompson center Impact inline,Bore sighted ,and was shooting 1"groups @ 100yrds with a few shots.mounting on rifle was about as easy as it gets,seems really strong and well built.should be able to take some abuse

good solid platform that holds up to me bouncing it around on a guide gun through brush. stable and used an adhesive product for making it stay, but then i always do. easy to install and very intuative
