how tall are the included rings? most rings require a riser for use on an ar 15 platform, do these? Expert Answer

They will not be thappropriate height for mounting on an AR with a fixed front sight. If you have a triangle front sight that does not fold you would be better off using a riser. I would recommend using a compatible AR mount such as the following:

it mounted perfectly to my 224 Valkyrie giving crystal clarity up to 24 power. Clarity began dropping above 24 power and at 40x is marginal. scope is heavy, but for long range target shooting, that's a plus. the illumination could use a lower setting...
