Dead Ringer DR4478 Drop Box Mossy Oak - Many people look to the traditional round box sights to try to make turkey shots and other outdoor shots. They work because of the light that is projected from the front sight. Veteran hunters know that the light that is projected from the front sight of a Dead Ringer box sight is actually in the direction the shooter is looking. Veteran shooters develop a "blind spot" when they try to make a shot while looking directly at an orange box in front of them. Veteran and novice wing shooters can benefit from the Dead Ringer DR4478 Dead Box Sight 's design because it promotes the correct cheek-to-stock position each time they shoulder their weapon. The Dead Ringer Drop Box uses aircraft grade 6061 T-6 aluminum frames with hardened steel screws in conjunction with threaded steel plates to securely attach sights to the vented rib. Dead Ringer Fiber Optic Sights use Lexan light pipes which are speciallyformulated for increased strength and durability than fiber optics. In addition, Dead Ringer DR4478 Drop Box uses Dead Ringer's patented vaporization process to test the light pipes for light intensity and durability.
