It will not, this upper receiver is made to work with 5.56/.223 AR-15 rifles only.

This is a 5.56/223 upper receiver which can be used with most pistol calibers, 5.56/.223, and .300 Blackout.

Do the Midwest industries combat lightweight series fit this receiver? It has the tabs that hold it in place .

According to Aero Precision; Any rail will work with the standard upper, however only the M4E1 rail will fit in the M4E1 upper (or other BAR style Handguard). To use the Midwest Industries handguard you would need the standard version of this receiver.

Will the upper fit a Daniel Defense RIS ll quad rail?

Yes, the Aero Precision M4E1 Threaded Assembled Upper Receiver will be compatible with the Daniel Defense RIS-II. Only the Enhanced version of this upper would not be compatible with that handguard.

The BCG from an M&P15 will work with the Aero Precision M4E1 Threaded Assembled Upper Receiver.

Will this upper work with an LWRC lower, particularly will the roll pin cover (under deflector) interfere with the LWRC right side bolt catch release?

Answering my own question here. I eventually purchased this upper and tried it with my LWRC lower. It fits but with an issue, mainly the LWRC ambi right side bolt catch release paddle stays mostly in the open position. If you lock the BCG back, the right side ambi is essentially useless when trying to close the BCG. It sometimes work...if you press extremely hard on the paddle. Having this upper with an LWRC lower, you basically lose the right side ambi bolt release feature.
