The SIG SAUER ROMEO5 1x20mm Red Dot Sight could be used as a 45 degree offset optic with the correct mount. However, I would recommend using a smaller and lighter optic such as the Swampfox Liberty 1x22mm RMR Dot Sight (linked below) paired with the Strike Industries Strike Ambush 45-Degree Optic Mount, also found by using the second link below:

The red dots will come with a bikini style set of lens covers, but there are no flip caps available for this unit as there is no where for them to be mounted.

Yes, it uses Aimpoint T1/T2 style mounts, however only the CR2032 models are compatible. Here is a link to the compatible Midwest Industries mounts:
