This Safety is Awesome. Very easy to install. Very simple to use with just your Thumb or Finger. I like the stiffness of it as well.

I hate the AR platform safety selector almost as much as the absolutely terrible iron sights. This handy little modification converts the awful flip switch to a simple push button. It is crisp and clean. Truly ambidextrous. I chose the stainless steel version, but painted the exposed ends black. Comes with the proprietary detent. Takes about a minute to install. As a LH/LE dominant ambidextrous shooter, the ELF A.S.S is truly the fastest safety you can get! I didn't care for the red indicator O ring that could feasibly swell with oil or solvent contact. So I cut it out and filled the space with red epoxy, making it exactly like all other button safeties. It is solid and crisp and does not activate without deliberate force but still moves easy enough to use one finger. I have reached out to Elfmann Tactical to buy spare detents for my oops kit. Now if I could just find real iron sights...
Pros:
- Affordable
- Stainless Steel
- Simple and effective
- Best for Southpaws and True Ambidexterous shooters
- Won't get caught on anything
Cons:
- Redish O ring is sketchy
- Proprietary detent
Best Used for:
- Shooting with gloves
- Ambidexterous shooters
- Folks that hate the flip switch
- Dusty/sandy conditions

If you love your 10/22 push saftey, you should like this. Its definitely growing on me, especially the simplicity of it,... and specifically for a bit of arthritis in my old broke up hands. Angle of engagement in my fingers not as severe.
Cons:
- Fitment varies-allows for some jiggling of part

Put this on my Bear Creek 10.5" 300 Blackout. Makes accessing the safety much faster. Especially resetting the safety. Just a knuckle bump away on the index finger. Really easy to take it off with the thumb. No over extending thump on the 90 degree safetys. Its right at the thumb.

I think this is a novel idea, but the user base where is really work is very limited. As a right handed shooter, I would want to have in safe mode with it extended out of the right side of the receiver and push in with my trigger finger, right pointer, to disengage it. The first problem is it works the opposite of this, i.e. perfect for ONLY LEFT HAND SHOOTERS. To disengage the trigger I have to move and use my support hand. Very inefficient compared to just using a regular ambi or non-ambi safety. I understand why they designed it like this due to the location of the detent per mil spec. It just limits its functional use. The other thing is if you have a trigger that is not mil spec or try to use it in another type of platform that may normally use AR safety switches, you will find it does fit. For example, this won't fit at all in a Ruger Precision Rifle that normally uses AR safety switches. I bought it and returned it for fitting issues. But if your a lefty with a mil-spec AR, I think you will love this part. For everyone else, skip it.
Cons:
- Doesn't fit non-mil spec triggers or non-AR platforms
- Requires using support hand to disengage for right handed users

Really smooth operation. Works really well with larger hands like mine especially if you have an Armaglock or Hellfighter installed if you are living in a communist state.
Cons:
- none I experienced
- None I have encountered

Had zero problem installing and has operated very well so far. It is extremely quick to operate from safe to fire and back. Keep in mind that it will only handle on and off and not multi-position set ups. I would also use caution about the ease of bumping the safety into a fire position should it get jostled around and hit something. Not duty recommended. I plan on installing several of these.

Finally, the performance is outstanding. The speed at which you can engage and disengage this safety is remarkable. It’s all about efficiency, folks, and this product delivers bigly.
In conclusion, if you want a top-notch ambidextrous safety that looks great and performs even better, you have to get the Elftmann Tactical Ambi Speed Safety. Believe me, you won’t regret it! It’s a winning choice!

Works great and looks cleaner than the traditional AR safety. I use them on all of my ARs and would highly recommend.

Absolutely love the Elftmann push button safety. So much easier and natural to deploy. Solid click when going from safe to fire. Has replaced my radian ambi safety as my new favorite and will be switching all my guns over to it.
Pros:
- ergonomic
- easy installation
- clean appearance
- price for value
