Most Helpful Negative Review BUYER BEWARE: If you plan to add a magnifier look elsewhere
I had two of these at one point. As standalone red dots they are great. Decent features, good price (especially if you get them when PA is liquidating old stock), though if you plan to add a magnifier then look elsewhere. great optic!

I bought this for my .357 marlin, 1894.
And it made this gun so fun to shoot.
I got the ACSS reticle, sighted it in at 50 yards, and have no problem taking it out to 200 yards.
I also got one for my 10/22 takedown because of the unlimited eye relief.
Strongly recommend.

Simple, Budget, Robust

Mounted this on am PSA GF3 AK 47. Zeroed perfectly, then shot 150 rounds and it held zero fine. The only drawback is that I couldn't co-witness with my iron sights. Overall it is a very good budget friendly Reflex sight.

  • Budget but not low quality

  • could not co witness
Best Used for:
  • Rifles - .556, .308, .30 caliber rifles

useless if you have astigamatism

If you have an astigmatism, this is useless. Go with the Cyclops Gen 2 Prism scope. Even without astigmatism, the reticle is too small without a magnifier. Unless you are using the MOA ring for CQB or quick target acquisition for home defense. It is well built. Knobs turn easy. Auto Live is awesome. I can't give it a poor rating due to my own personal vision issues. It is a very nice product but just needs to be paired with a magnifier to maximize its intended use.

The right choice

I mounted this to a CMMG Banshee 9mm. This was the best option for a home defense PCC; easy to pick up and shoot tight groups at 25yds (max distance at my inside range). I would buy again and the price was right at Optice Plane.
