The Quasar is designed for mountaineers looking for an extremely strong tent. Whether youre up in the mountains or at the poles, the Quasar will stand up to it all. Its strength, durability and space, make it the perfect choice for long-term mountaineering trips or expeditions at any time of the year.
Features of Terra Nova Quasar Tent
- Featuring an exceptionally strong geodesic design that is tried and tested, having withstood some of the harshest conditions in the world for over two decades.
- The inner pitch first design of the Quasar adds to its stability and makes it quieter in windy conditions. It also adds superb inner tension, preventing sagging and providing the largest usable space possible.
- Colour-coded DAC poles make it quick and straightforward to pitch.
- The free-standing design means the Quasar is ideal for camping where the ground is less firm, as it doesnt rely on guy lines and pegs to support its main structure.
- Two entrances and porches allow sheltered access and plenty of space to store your gear.
- Each inner door has a full midge-proof mesh and solid inner door, enabling different ventilation options depending on weather conditions.
- Guaranteed waterproofing comes from a combination of proven Terra Nova Watershed and Waterbloc fabrics, with the flysheet and groundsheet taped.
- Dyneema reflective guylines add more stability in bad conditions. Dyneema guy rope is three times as strong as standard guy rope of the same weight and has very low stretch for stability in all conditions.
