Will this work with a M4 style gas block? Or is it not high enough to clear Expert Answer

The Vector Optics 30mm One-Piece Skeletonized Picatinny Scope Mount has a centerline height of 1.25". The fixed front sight on the AR15 is at 1.4". Meaning this will not provide enough height to clear the front sight.

This is a no frills solid matte back mount best used for a tactical rifle that will be beat on in the field. In other words it is exactly what you want in your AR-15. Fit and finish are excellent with great fasteners.
