The BlackHawk GripBreak Leather Holster for Glock 17/19/22/23/31/32 has a patented locking mechanism that offers secure weapon retention in a premium Italian leather design. The BlackHawk GripBreak Glock Holster lets you maintain a master grip and quick, smooth draw thanks to a simple thumb release lever. Leather manufacturers in Italy are well-known for producing extremely high-end products. Blackhawk uses premium vegetable-tanned Italian cowhide leather - the finest material on the market today. Each holster receives a natural finish from a plant-based "tannin" compound used for the tanning process. The leather is then drum dyed: placed in a huge barrel-shaped drum and tumbled with the dye for 24 to 48 hours. This forces the dye into the leather for long-lasting results. Blackhawk holsters are contour stitched; the holsters are built by closely stitching along the outline of the pistol. Not only does this result in a better fit and appearance, but it's one of the telling marks of a well-made leather holster. The BlackHawk GripBreak Glock 17/19 Holster is hand-boned to give it a sculpted outline. Each holster is finished by hand-polishing with a finishing cream to seal in the dye and create a nice lustrous shine.
