I like these extended bolt catches a lot. Installed on 1 forged and 2 billet AR15 lowers. great fitting strong metal and functional. I like that these are 1 piece that completely replaces the mil spec bolt catch. The black finish is even and hard.

The Phase 5 Weapon Systems Extended Bolt Release V3 is compatible with all Mil-Spec AR15/M16 receiver sets, including many billet, side charging, and even left-handed weapons. These AR15 Bolt Catches & Releases from Phase 5 Weapon Systems Inc allow access to the bolt release from either side of the firearm, which gives both righties and lefties more options for reloading more quickly and clearing jams more efficiently. One of the improvements in this version of the Phase 5 Weapon Systems Skeletonized Extended Bolt Release V3 is the added grip serrations at the elbow and at the end for more secure operation, especially in cold or wet conditions.
