This will not be compatible with the Henry AR-7, the AR-7 has a 3/8" dovetail for scope mounting.

The dovetail part is approximately 4.7" long and the picatinny part on top is 6" long.

Excellent way to mount a scope . It grips the dovetail very tightly and allows use of heavy-duty rings designed for a 1 inch base . It holds tight and raises the scope about a half inch while extending the length of the mounting area. I've used these...
