Will it work with my Walther PPQ M1 Q4 9mm threaded barrel? Expert Answer

No, this brake uses a crush washer for proper timing. You will need a brake that uses a different method for mounting for use with a handgun.

For the price this is a great muzzle brake. It stops some of the muzzle rise and recoil. It was not easy for me to put on with the crush washer that it came with, so I picked up a jam nut and it works great.

Product Info for VISM Ruger PC Carbines 9mm Muzzle Brake with Crush Washer

9mm Ruger PC Carbine steel muzzle brake with crush washer. The muzzle brake is a two chamber design with 10 CNC machined ports that direct the propellant gasses upwards and to the sides to reduce muzzle climb and felt recoil. No open ports on the bottom of the muzzle brake, to reduce dust signature when shooting prone.image

Features of VISM Ruger PC Carbines 9mm Muzzle Brake with Crush Washer

  • Muzzle Brake adds 2.2in+ to the length of the barrel with the use of the crush washer
  • Overall length: 2.15in Screws onto 9mm Ruger PC Carbine's with in X 28 threaded barrels (9mm bore)
  • Muzzle Brake has two chambers with 10 ports that direct the exiting propellant gasses upwards and to both sides to reduce muzzle rise and felt recoil
  • There are no open ports on the bottom of the Muzzle Brake, this will reduce the dust signature when firing prone
