I run this on a spike tactical lower, with a super safety installed. This upper handles it flawlessly, be it semi auto, or super safe. Never have any issues with it.
I think this is the first upper Aero has made that has incorporated the FSB but also a M-lok and free-float rail rather then have the drop-in hand guards. Just looks better and feels better, a little more secure for attachments. I really like the loo...

No good way to configure the partial rail version with light / laser and switches. Not enough rail space to accommodate a good forward grip with any device attached. Don’t waste your money on this version. Get the mlock instead. This was a bad idea.
