DEZ Arms AR-10 6.5 Creedmoor Match-Grade Barrel - Bull Contour w/ Straight Fluting

DEZ Arms, Inc., Match 4150 CMV 22" and 24" Rifle Gas 6.5 mm Creedmoor barrel with installed M4 feed ramped barrel extension fits a .308, DPMS pattern upper receiver. Uses a rifle-length gas system and forearm (not included). Straight flute. Nitride finish, 5/8 x 24 threaded and 11 degree target crown.

Requires: Complete 7.62 x 51 bolt assembly (not included); however 6.5 creedmoor high pressure bolt is recommended; .308 upper/lower receiver (AR-10)

DEZ Arms' custom machined match barrels are made from match 4150 CMV steel made in specialized factories. Barrels are head spaced with M4 feed ramped extension installed, and pre drilled gas port hole. Barrels are particle tested, air gauged, concentrically cut and muzzle threaded 5/8 x 24" twist to accept flash hiders/suppressors, stressed relieved, turned on center to prevent accuracy robbing distortion when the barrel heats up, and hardened to 26-33 Rc giving the barrel a long life. The 11 degree crown, polished chamber and lapped bore makes the difference! Our pulled-button rifling produces a superbly accurate bore diameter with uniform rate of twist. Fluted models feature DEZ unique fluting designs to improve rigidity and aid in barrel cooling.

Nitride finish interior and exterior finish which is also applied to the barrel extension and gas port during heat treating and creates a monolithic black finish that is superior to hard chrome. The process does not add material to the internal dimension of the bore, increasing surface hardness to between 58-65 HRC, lowering bore friction, enhancing surface lubricity, improving running wear performance, enhancing corrosion resistance and heat resistance over industrial hard chrome.
