The Leatherwood CMR4 1-4x24 Rifle Scope features a left-sided windage adjustment, a common request from tactical shooters. This modification allows right-handed shooters to make windage adjustment without taking the rifle scope off of the target - or finger off the trigger - and provides the extra clearance needed for some bolt-action rifle models. Both the windage and elevation turrets feature the "ZRO-LOK" System, which locks windage and elevation alignment in place, while still allowing minor adjustments to be made in the field, and allows the operator to return the scope to exact zero. Each click gives 0.1 Mil adjustments, with 8 Mils per full turn of the turret. The Tri-Center spring tension system allows for positive windage and elevation adjustments The Leatherwood Leatherwood/Hi-Lux CMR4 Scope also comes with protective screw on aluminum turret caps.

The Leatherwood/Hi-Lux CMR4 Rifle Scope features an advanced illuminated reticle that provides more information to the shooter for quickly assessing the range of an intended target, and to allow for the trajectory of 5.56mm (.223 Remington) or 7.62mm NATO (.308 Winchester) rifles out to 600 meters. In addition to the vertical BDC aiming points, the reticle also includes Mil scales on both the vertical and horizontal lines. Illumination comes in choice of red or green, plus the refined rheostat allows easy adjustment of the lighted reticle intensity, and now includes three night vision settings.
