The Dark Hour Defense steel magazine catch (without spring) is machined from a solid block of 4130 alloy. Engraved with "Dark Hour" and "Defense" This mag catch retains the look of a steel magazine catch, but is shorter and narrower than a traditional magazine catch, making it friendly for those who wish to run an ultra compact build. Centered around the "Dark Hour" logo, this mag catch provides a 'solid feel' when used. Dark Hour Defense worked closely with V Seven Weapon Systems to incorporate an ultra-light "Diamond" type Mag Catch button into the design. The machined 4130 alloy allows the part to withstand even the most brutal stresses of weapon use. In doing so, it provides a significant increase in strength over a standard Mag Catch. Without the 'Diamond' button, the magazine catch has no "weight" and will degrade the general aesthetics of your firearm. Having a shorter, sleeker mag catch with the "Diamond" button gives the shooter the ability to run a slightly compact lower profile build without sacrificing the magazine catch aesthetics.
