16” Barrel

A high-performance 16” government profile barrel milled from 4150 CMV steel with a black nitride coating inside and out. Featuring a 1:8 twist rate, 5/8x24 TPI, and 5R button rifling this barrel is equipped with a carbine length gas system. To ensure the highest level of safety and functionality, all TRYBE Defense barrels undergo a 70-point inspection process during manufacturing to include 100% inspection of headspace and guarantee compliance with SAAMI specifications. Each barrel is also air gauged after rifling and held to .0002" concentricity of the bore.

15” M-LOK Magnesium Alloy Handguard

An ultra lightweight heat treated 15” Magnesium Alloy material handguard with full top picatinny rail system, featuring M-LOK positions at 90°, 180°, and 270°. Magnesium Alloy is a magnesium alloy that is just as strong as 6061-T6 Aluminum but weighs 30% less. The total combined weight of the Magnesium Alloy handguard, barrel nut, and mounting hardware is just 7.08 oz.

Bolt Carrier Group

A fully assembled BCG that includes the bolt, bolt carrier, gas key, firing pin, cam pin, and firing pin retaining pin. Every TRYBE Defense bolt is High Pressure Torsion (HPT), Magnetic Particle Inspected (MPI), shot-peened, and the gas key staked to MIL-SPEC standards during production. The M16 black nitride BCG is machined from durable and corrosion-resistant AISI 8620 steel and hardened to MIL-SPEC standards. The interior of the bolt carrier and bolt carrier key is black nitride-lined. This BCG is compatible with .223 Remington, 5.56x45mm NATO, and .300 AAC Blackout-chambered AR-15 rifles and weighs just 11.3 oz.

Ambidextrous Magnesium Alloy Charging Handle

Made from 33% lighter and 15% stronger material than standard aluminum, coated in self-lubricating hexagonal electro nickel boron nitride that all but eliminates friction, sound, and the need for wet lubrication, the ambidextrous TRYBE Defense Magnesium Alloy Charging Handle offers a tactical feel and reliable charge despite its ridiculously lightweight frame. Contoured construction prevents catching, and deep grooves on the rattle-eliminating latch-integrated release levers are easy to locate in low light or with wet, cold, or gloved hands.
