Is the barrel chrome lined? Expert Answer

The Aero Precision 5.56 CMV Barrel is not chrome lined. However, CMV barrels are crafted to mil-spec standards from 4150 Chrome Moly Vanadium and QPC coated which has been shown to provide better erosion resistance than chrome lining.

The Aero Precision 5.56 CMV Barrel does not come dimpled for a gas block.
