Product Info for Noveske 13.7in Gen III Infidel 5.56 Upper Receiver
The Noveske 13.7in Infidel 5.56 Upper Receiver was designed with installation in mind. This upper includes the patented Infidel free floating handguard which is one of the most rigid and rigid braces on the market. The patented Infidel Brace keeps forward momentum by utilizing spring pressure to constantly urge the forward handguard forward. As the handguard moves forward it is forced to flex against the face of the handguard providing an anchor point for the forward handguard. This causes the handguard to bow forward and concentrate forward pressure onto the ground surface causing the forward handguard to bow back and forth. The shoulder of the handguard needs to run a 45 degree to the barrel axis causing the gas port to be dilled a small amount forcing the gas port ever so slightly farther into the gas port. The air holes in the handguard do not go through to the back of the handguard allowing the handguard to always stay firmly in place preventing slippage even more so than a handguard with a straight fit. The barrel extension is pre-installed and the Noveske 13.7in Gen III Infidel 5.56 Barrel. The barrel is pre-installed into the upper receiver and threaded for a permanently secured, locking nut.
