The Foxtrot Mike Products FM-9 Complete 9x19mm 16 inch Upper Receiver included in this kit, is built from the ground up to provide outstanding reliability and accuracy with a host of top tier features. The traditional M4 charging handle has been replaced with an ambidextrous, non reciprocating forward charging handle. The monolithic style has been achieved with a proprietary interlock between the upper and handguard. The slim-line handguard is M-LOK compatible for your favorite accessories. Also including a premium complete 9mm bolt, a heavy buffer, a .308 buffer spring, a thread protector, and your choice of Match Grade 41v50 16 in 9mm barrel.

Each of FM-9 9mm Barrels are machined from 41V50 chrome-moly vanadium steel and are finished to provide matchgrade accuracy and precision, thanks to a button-rifling process that cuts a 1:10-inch twist rate designed to stabilize all 9mm projectiles. Each barrel is machined with 1/2-36 TPI muzzle threads, designed for compatibility with most of today's muzzle devices and suppressors.

Machined from a single piece of premium pre hard 4340 steel alloy, the FM-9 Bolt is finished with a deep black Melonite coating, that gives both lubricity and wear-resistance. As an added benefit, the FM-9 Bolt is ramped to accommodate both standard GI and dedicated 9mm hammers.

The build kits includes the Lower Parts Kit for a 9mm Glock style Lower receiver, as well as the associated Receiver Extension parts. End plate, Castle Nut, plus a 9MM Carbine receiver extension. The kit comes standard with a FM-9 6.5oz Heavy Pistol Buffer and proper .308 Carbine Recoil Spring, to ensure reliable cycling of any blow-back operated Glock style AR's. With its 3.7 in length, the FM-9 Heavy Pistol Buffer requires no spacer and helps prevent bolt catch breakage. This 5 in FM9 Builders kits is complete minus the serialized lower receiver, ensuring a trouble free build for your next 9mm Glock style AR build.
