Has machining marks and a funny finish. Big problem is the staking and the bolts. Bolt heads rounded and poor staking/ cracked out. Very poor quality control- disappointed. Can i please post pictures....whats going on JG??? Not usable as shipped.

I had this in one of my rifles and it wouldn't make it thru a mag without jamming. I tried different ammo and mags and same thing would happen 2 rounds would get stuck. So i swapped a standard psa bcg and now i have no issue. I definitely regret this...

Product Info for Jacob Grey Firearms Ultralight 5.56 Nato High Polished PVD Bolt Carrier Group (BCG)s

Jacob Grey Firearms DLC (Diamond-Like Carbon) coatings have been widely successful in the aerospace industry. Jacob Greys carbon-based coating has extreme hardness due to the diamond crystal structure and is soft and lubricious due to the graphite crystal structure. Our DLC coatings are generally amorphous (without typical crystal structure). The properties of DLC coatings in terms of increased hardness, coefficient of friction, roughness, adhesion level, load carrying capacity, resistance to humidity influenced degradation, fatigue tolerance, etc. can easily be explained as beneficial within the firearms industry. But with its sleek and stylish looks and its ability to withstand carbon buildup and fouling, why would you want anything less inside your firearm. Available in Jacob Greys signature DLC black color Lethal Black.

Why DLC on your BCG:

First off, the surface is very hard and smooth making it an extremely high wear resistance coating. The friction coefficient is greatly reduced requiring less lubrication. Operating temperatures are lowered. Yes, you can run without lubrication when its necessary but its good practice to use a small amount of oil whenever allowable.

HP proof testing, 100% using a high pressure M197 or SAAMI commercial equivalent;
MPI testing after above, 100% inspection per ASTM E1444 using a standard 5 turn magnetizing coil;
Bolt Carrier Style: M16 Full Auto;
Mil-Spec Ejector Springs, Firing Pin, Retaining Pin, Gas Rings, O-Ring;
Mil-Spec Heat Treated;
Lifetime warranty
