Doesnt quite fit perfectly; when closed around an upper, it doesnt quite touch together at the top. But this isnt a big issue. I have used on 3 builds so far, and it works great. The polymer is strong, and takes a beating without damaging my uppers.
This is a must have for anyone that have or wants to build an AR15. It really helps in holding the upper snugly so you can work on either cleaning or tighten parts etc. Great item and I recommend this to all. Price is just right as well.
Had to modify the block for the reciever I was working on. Used a saw to cut out plastic that was in my way. I guess it would be fine for a standard upper reciever but not for any modified reciever. Also had issues due to the lack of a hinge holding ...
