Do you accept backorders?

Yes, we accept backorders, simply place your order like you would an in-stock item. We will do our best to keep you updated as to the status of your item and when it will arrive.

We want to provide you with the best selection of outdoor gear available. We accept backorders in order to minimize sending you back-in-stock and similar notifications, and instead, just working with our suppliers to quickly get you the products you want and need.

OpticsPlanet.com accepts backorders on some products, including ammo. If the product is shown as out of stock and able to be backordered you will see an ETA below the "Place Backorder" button. You may place a backorder now and reserve your place in line for inventory as it becomes available. We do not charge credit cards until orders are ready to ship. Ammunition orders will be filled and shipped as soon as your inventory becomes available.

Demand for ammunition has greatly increased over the past year and is currently significantly exceeding supply. Unfortunately, that means many out-of-stock orders might experience extended delays. This does not apply to in-stock orders, which will be processed as usual. We are working tirelessly to secure as much inventory as possible, and we have large orders in place with suppliers as we are striving to meet current demand.
